Welcome to the Everyday Desk! A handcrafted, artisan's standing desk designed to be both an instrument of function and an object of elegance within the room.
Out of every piece of furniture that people engage with on a daily basis, the desk has the unique function of being both a point of beauty within the room, as well as a tool for productivity.
Constructed out of solid walnut with elegant curves, it’s a delight to the eyes, but the real beauty is in its function. Being a hand-powered sit/stand desk, it excels your own productivity through its ergonomic design.
The sit/stand desk is raised and lowered entirely by hand. There are no motors/wires involved; the mechanical aspect is built fully into the desk using exposed kinetic machinery and gears. There is a modern crank handle on the right side of the desk which turns a series of gears adjusting the height of the desk. The desk is built out of solid walnut and ash lumber, with the exception of the desk surface which is a high-quality walnut veneered plywood that is capped by solid walnut on all sides.
This particular model is built out of a combination of Ash and Walnut, but please reach out if you are interested in one of our other choices: Cherry, African Mahogany, or White Oak.
